Senado inicia discusión del presupuesto y Briones se abre a aumentar recursos
Al inicio de la discusión, se realizó un debate en general, centrado en los acuerdos que se podrían alcanzar, con un “tono más dialogante”, tal como se indicó por parte de varios legisladores.
El ministro de Hacienda, Ignacio Briones, aludió a la partida Cultura y adelantó la disposición de avanzar e “incluso aumentar el presupuesto”, así también para las zonas afectadas por la cuarentena.
En materia de educación indicó que hay una mesa de trabajo entre la Dipres, las universidades del Cruch y la subsecretaría, para encontrar la fórmula para destrabar la partida. Además, señaló que se ingresó una indicación para la Convención Constituyente e insistirán con el aumentó per cápita en salud de 6,5%.
Luego, la senadora Isabel Allende valoró el cambio de tono de Hacienda; sin embargo, insistió en revisar materias medioambientales, sobre trabajo y mujeres.
Por su parte, el senador Guido Girardi criticó duramente el actual presupuesto, que no se haría cargo de ciencia, cultura y educación, claves para avanzar, según el legislador.
